My connection to yoga started 13 years ago in Sydney when I had start having constant upper back and neck pain. Acupuncture and remedial massages provided temporal relief. The cause is due to years of bad posture as a white collar key board warrior. At that point in time, I was willing to try anything to address the symptom which included going into a yoga studio! The first yoga studio I joined was run by the lovely Dave and Val at @Yogahotspot in Sydney. It cured by back pain and drew me into the world of meditation. What I learnt over the years is yoga is not just about improving ones strength and flexibility but it is a way of life. For me it has definitely become my daily ritual that I fondly love and enjoy for as it brings me inner peace and self awareness.
